چکیده
In this article, we propose laser actuated microjoints which can be remotely in both air and water. Their actuation relies on the optothermal response of a spiral bimaterial. The are fabricated using two-photon polymerization technology that offers ability to tune thermal mechanical properties material by controlling printing power. Modeling is first conducted verify parameters affect rotational displacement generated torque microjoint. Then, having diameter less than 200 $\mu$ m characterized. realize maximum deflection approximately 8.5 notation="LaTeX">$^{\circ }$ , force N-order 265- long arm, an repeatability more 100 times, time 34 ms. Finally, implemented microgripper xy serial microarm. Successful micromanipulation 40 microbeads microgripper, simultaneous multiple microarm with two degrees freedom shown. This kind rotational, compact, selective, would allow deployment individually controlled mobile microrobots several for complex applications such as cell manipulation microassembly.

Modelling a surface acoustic wave based remotely actuated microvalve
We present a normally closed, remotely actuated, secure coded, electrostatically driven active microvalve using passive components. This is carried out by utilizing the complex signal processing capabilities of two identical 5 × 2-bit Barker sequence encoded acoustic wave correlators. An electrostatically driven microchannel, comprising two conducting diaphragms as the top and bottom walls, is ...
متن کاملOn the Kinematics of Remotely-Actuated Continuum Robots
Over the past several years, there has been a rapidly expanding interest in the the study and construction o,f a new class of robot manipulators which utilize high degree of freedom, or continuous, backbone structures. I n this paper, we consider and illustrate some basic properties of a class of “hyper-redundant” robots, known as “continuum” robots. W e base our analysis around remotely-driven...

On the circular curve, lateral acceleration affects comfort. On the spiral, both lateral acceleration and jerk affect comfort. The determination of maximum curving speed on the basis of lateral acceleration only is not critical because the lateral acceleration is proportional to the square of speed whereas jerk is proportional to cubic power of speed. The maximum speed on a curve is thus signi...

This paper interests to the redundancy management of the over-actuated control systems. A new approach to manage the actuator redundancy, for the control allocation compared to the LQ method is proposed based on the reliability analysis. The aim is to preserve the health of the actuators and the availability of the system. The desired efforts and the control inputs are distributed and generated...
متن کاملFerromagnetic shape memory flapper for remotely actuated propulsion systems
Generating propulsion with small-scale devices is a major challenge due to both the domination of viscous forces at low Reynolds numbers as well as the small relative stroke length of traditional actuators. Ferromagnetic shape memory materials are good candidates for such devices as they exhibit a unique combination of large strains and fast responses, and can be remotely activated by magnetic ...
